This is a great rugby show! This show has a wonderfully personal touch. I like that it’s a mix of everyday stories, not stats and opinions of players and games (I find such stuff boring to listen to). The games speak for themselves, just watch them and enjoy them for what they are. It’s great to meet the Misses, Hask. What a great match you two make! All best for you both in the life you create together. Definitely consider coming to the USA and playing in the MLR at some time. We will greatly appreciate it here!

This was really interesting. You don't get to hear how the partner/wife of a rugby player feels like about everything that goes around before and after a game, either is a loss or a victory, and how she's dealing with the fact that she's dating/married to someone that rugby fans can recognise everywhere.

How can two people with such expensive educations still think that On The Road is a good novel past the age of 17
@volemole
@volemole 6 жыл бұрын
What has an expensive education got to do with anything ? - it has managed to consistently churn out some of the must cerebrally stunted people in this land. Good literature is an entirely subjective affair - although recognising that Kerouac was a fine poet is a good indicator that you know anything about the written word.

struggling to watch this one, just as i got to like Haskell, he gets annoying again. I get having a wife on for that side of it, but Chloe isn't exactly your everyday rugby wife in terms of career and up bringing. And due to having his wife there is usually bearable and sometimes funny banter seems somewhat forced because he doesn't want to be out-done by the other half. Also, did someone up the sensitivity on his mic, because you can really hear his breathing.

@@somanytakennames as in Chloe already works in a public eye, plus her parents were on the TV and therefore is not a complete stranger to the effects that come with it. So actually you are correct, i am not from the 18th century. Thanks for your input.

@Michael Davies So? She says in the podcast she clearly explained that she was unsure at first and has similar experiences to the other non pre-famous wives. Just because she had is in the public eye doesn't mean that Haskell was going to approach his career any differently. I also fail to see how this in anyway relates to your point about Haskell. He's no different to how he is in any of the other podcasts and obviously can have a bit of fun with Chloe and vice versa. It's probably part of the reason they got married.
