A guitar can easily go out of tune in an instant, how hard the player hits the strings, hot/cold temp changes. The tech is on point the majority of the time, explaining why he's been with them for multiple tours.

Doesn’t sound out to me,not the best audio quality to say for sure , but as a guitar player myself I’m pretty sure it’s not out of tune. You could see his tech just checked it before he gave it to James. I think he says turn it down. My bet is his in ear monitors is too loud. Different guitar , higher output maybe!?

To tell the truth, if I was lucky enough to land a job as Mr Hetfield's Guita Tech, and it's a thing I can barely conduct personally, (what with whoppingly vast amounts of stuff to do at home for my dear relatives one and all!!), I'd somehow instantaneously have to develop brilliant communication hard earned skills, and be polite, yet firm in order to convey what to watch out for such as, strings not being settled in on each guitar and other minor variables such as any trying to prevent any detunings, inadvertently by incorrectly handling the guitar when locking and loading up ready to fire off these mighty, and with Metallica, I'm serious, mighty riffage, chordal, arpeggios, single note solos, be these of whatever type. It must, p'raps, be a 'mahoosive' operation manning every section throughout all of these musical brilliant superheroes' operation, and to many, ok, some, then, it may not entirely matter too much, yet, any craft, any art, any music, any writing, any politics, anything made, produced by craftsmen or craftswomen, craftspeople, it matters that your best, your absolute best you can do is done, so the art seems effortless and as perfect as you can make it. Isn't this part of the art of any muso,too? Oh, by the way, please can I end my piece, 'ere, with a nice little 'pome', from waaaaaaaaaay back in the day? "Hi ho, hi ho, It's off to work we go, With a bucket and spade, And a hand grenade, Hi, ho, hi, ho, Hi, ho, hi, ho.".
