Cliff was the most talented musician in their band and the mastermind behind their first albums thats why they are their best ones. He was revolutionary and amazing bassist at his time and by looking at him he was really genuine kind and good person. Find someone like him to play in your band its way better that finding golden treasure. No wonder James couldn't get over his loss 'cause he was a big impact for his band musically 'cause probably the next albums would be even better than the first ones and second he lost one great friend too.

Clif was awesome and it's fun to play his material. We go way back. I was Metallica ING in 81. He was a headbanging mfr. One cool dude 😎. But I wouldn't change the Metallica band today.
