James Holzhauer got exactly what he wanted, revenge.

@gyno If you're referring to James's low Final Jeopardy wager, he still wouldn't have won if he went all in. Emma specifically bet so she would beat a double up by James. She won fair and square. Yes, James is a better player in general, and he got his revenge. But disrespecting a worthy opponent is not the way to go.

@@philcastora6564 Both players have consistently proven that they are among the best of the best. Either one of them losing to another one of the GOAT I don't think would be a detriment to their legacy at all. After all, Ken's already lost to Brad 3 times now, and many people to this day STILL like to argue that he's better than James because of his longer win streak. If James puts up a great fight but ends up losing because either Brad or Ken outbuzzed him or whatever, I don't think it will hurt his legacy in the slightest.

To be fair to her, I'm sure she was under a lot of pressure under her second game due to the fact that she had unseated a 74-time Jeopardy champ and was still reeling in the shock factor, so that probably did hinder her performance in her second game to a great degree, but the fact still remains is that she lost the very next game she played and was not even remotely comparable to Ken based off the 2 games she played. I admit that I myself was initially one of the people who was upset that Emma was included in this TOC, but she proved herself worthy of being there and that she was indeed a worthy rival of James from the start. Sadly, many internet conspirators will still throw around the lie that "he let her win".
