I typically dont comment, but I thought I would one time. I'm a 15 year old guitarist, and I've been watching your channel(s) for roughly 11 months now, and you've helped me and many others learn numerous songs. guitar is one of the most important things in my life right now, and i feel that more "kids" like myself could be positively affected by guitar. you're my favorite KZbin guitar teacher, and thank you for 10 years of working hard for all of us.

Without question, you have been my inspiration to play more and learn more.Your lessons, covers and commentaries are at the top. Some of the other channels i subscribe to, while very informative, do not have that personal touch. When I watch yours, I feel like I'm sitting in your room with my guitar and a bottle of Coke. First time comment in 9 years of watching - I am 60 years old and picked up the guitar for the first time when I turned 50- ten years ago. I have been coming here ever since I first started looking for songs and you seemed to always have the ones I love (huge Beatles, Zep, classic rock) Anyway- glad I found you back then. I've slowly become an adaquate quitarist and it's in part to watching you play. Glad you have scruples- keep on playing and DISCUSSING music. The people who really care want to hear what you have to say. Thanks for being you. My eternal thanks. Paul in Jersey

Congrats and too many thanks to be counted, James for your bringing us quality lessons, added with contagious love of music, you may never know how many guitar players whom you have raised the Play, of any age, and don,t you worry about getting old, the love and excitement of music nevers dies off, I should know, having started in the early Beatles days. Cheers to you, and if we should ever meet, I, ll buy you a Coke, or maybe a beer. hoping for another ten years.

Now 61, it took me years to learn songs through my teens and into each following decade by any means, and it was arduous. Learning from records, the radio, friends, tv. And that journey was long and slowly rewarding. But today, because of YOU, the generation growing up are on the fast pace to learn everything we have learned in 40+ years. It is a good thing. what a contribution!! And I see young teens playing things I mastered in my 40's. "If I knew what I knew now..." many thanks to you!!!I wish todays music had more character and mojo than it does. Maybe someday it will transition back to substance over symbolism, we can only hope.Thank you for your dedication!Regards,EH

@James James. Edit #2: Hi JJ, You'll still be playing at 62. I'm 65 & out of my 55 years of ''owning'' & playing guitar, I've learned so much from you. Me, that guy who can hardly read music. ''Backseating'' my guitar for a marriage because my first wife hatted listening to me playing acoustics all the time, she asked me to please stop playing really hurt. KZbin made it easy to learn songs at your own pace. Now before I forget, I really liked the video of your wife and you doing the Q&A session that you uploaded from the past month or so. Watching that made me feel great to know that not every spouse or partner (to be PC) was/is like my first wife who turned me into being just a guitar owner.... Happy Anniversary you two & God Bless you guys.... Ya know, I used to watch your other channel. Then when I started watching this channel I thought, Gee, he sounds a lot like that other guy, lol... Hey, I think you're a great player & teacher as well. I totally mean that.... EDIT #1: It's great to hear you being so open & honest. One of the other reasons that I like coming to your channel. I've learned a lot from you. Enough that I've been able to help out my sons with their playing & hopefully my grandson with his. So many thanks to you JJ.... Stay Blessed & ''Go Bills'', Dan...
