I'm so glad he never got really big. The shins are a diamond in the rough. The type of band you want to bury their cds in the sand on a beach and have a young kid stumble across them and change their life hopefully

This was sublimely well done and shared generously. James could play this in so many ways, and in this rendition he chose to reach within for something more filled with own feeling as only an author knows, and polished his so well cherished gem by so many with special emotions invoked and freshly hashed in the moment, very intimately he realized and noted in his brief intro the place deserved his best (which usually are, no mater where he is playing, always at 100%) and he was very generous to not just play it in any pro manner with tech and method, this was more into. This was a gift delivery, if I was in the audience I will cherish for Life. Like I still do from seeing Peter Gabriel walk into the restaurant we were eating and on request from the owner seemly friends, and very pleased fellow patrons regaled us with 2 songs not just sang a capella, but he added sentiment to transformed while he was singing his 2 masterpieces like none. One of those rare and true to the soul renditions with full surrender from audience and artists connected as one

Gangham style is just substance-less garbage that all the dummies consume while crying about how "there is no good music out today." They fail to listen to people like The Shins, Alexi Murdoch, and other good musicians like Elliott Smith since they are dunderheads. The real atrocity is how a lot of Nick Drake songs uploaded back in 2006 have less than a million views.
@roundtheoutside1611 жыл бұрын

Talented guy, great musician....but I ask you what the hell were you thinking breaking up with the shins...are you mad? this song just seems odd and incomplete without the original band members. sure u had your personal issues so what...u put that aside with the guys for the sake of great music. now since the new album, the shins suck....mercer i don't know what u were thinking but big mistake breaking up the shins.
