As I was alone, dying of COVID, I could faintly hear this song in the hospital coming from someone's radio. I have 12 sisters, 10 brothers-in-law, one set of twin sons, and a set of twin grandsons. My family was not allowed to visit me and I was too sick to care. Somehow this song got trapped in my brain, over and over until it just stopped me from the will to die. Music is the lifeline that Jesus reached out to me with. I am still here and I keep searching out this song when I start to feel down.

But let me say this - I saw James live when I was married with 3 beautiful young daughters and sadly I was in a horrendously violent marriage. I'm 34 now and this song has stuck with me since it come out. I was browsing albums from an external hd I hadn't used in years and was going through the tunes when I came across JM's debum album and this song which I haven't heard since it was released six years ago - suddenly dawned on me the last time I heard it was in my car about a week before I broke up with my ex-gf and how it summed up exactly what I felt at the time, I was just parked up at college and sat in the car in a daze listening to it.
