Getting vaccinated wasn't just about giving yourself a better chance of reducing symptoms and not ending up in hospital, less severe symptoms would mean less chance of passing it on to others and lower chance of you ending up needed medical help and putting strain on the health service. Deliberately not getting vaccinated means you're either an anti vaxxer, or you don't give a toss about your fellow human beings or society. Or both. I don't think anyone should be surprised for being judged based on those facts.

Isn't that just the benefit of hindsight though? How are we supposed to decide before we fully understand the risks of a virus? Surely if we go with your method of only requiring vaccines for the elderly and vulnerable, then we would be in a lot of trouble of the virus mutated into something really nasty. The consequences of getting this wrong could be extremely dire if a nasty enough virus comes along. What's worse, a government that pushes (but doesn't force) us to take a vaccine with a very small risk, or a government that risks everything rather than follow the medical advice given by experts?

Claims that the vaccine offered, did not prevent the spread of infection, neither did the masks, and the most diabolical cover up, for those with no health issues, under the age of about 50 years old, the vaccine side effects, for many, are more debilitating than the infection it paports to protect us from. Personal belief l did not have the vaxx. I took some flack but l said no. 2 other members of my family said no as well. They caught "covid" and were fine. Those members and friends who did have the vaxx 3 now have cancer, 2 had strokes, 2 have never had a well day since. Lots of people l know who were " healthy" are now shadows of who they were. There is 100% a difference. A conspiracy theory is basically a belief for which there is either no or very little evidence for. There are mountains of evidence in support of the vaccine and very little against it which is why it is a conspiracy theory. If someone said 1 + 1 = 11 then that is not a reasonable position to have. It doesn't matter how fair and balanced you want to be. It doesn't matter if they're 'entitled to their opinion'. It is just plain wrong and it's the same for these antivax weirdos
