The US electorate didn’t vote for Trump. That was the Electoral College. I've been angry at capitalism for fourty years. Now I am just angry at the people that practice it and the greed/ignorance that feeds it. That's almost everyone in my generation covered i think.

He demonstrates the genius of simplicity - everything is reasonable and rational. How politics could be without the greed and selfish ambition…

Feel the Bern! I wish he could have been president. I voted for him!

I love Bernie! He is the only senator with Elisabeth Warren, who makes sense and would lead the USA into a true progressive agenda for the American people. He is against Netanyahu'war on Gaza. He cares about the Palestinian people. I wish he was running in the 2024 campaign for president as a Democrat Socialist. Let's not underestimate the power of the people against the oligarchs.

Warren? The senator that milked her fake cherokee heritage her whole career, even going so far as calling herself a minority faculty member at harvard in 1996, and fabricating a DNA test which indicated she indeed had native heritage until she apologized in 2019?

It's such a shame that considering Warren and Sanders were meant to be fighting for the same cause that she attempted to pull the rug out beneath him, I say attempted because it misfired and blew up in her face.

Elizabeth Warren is not a true progressive and NEVER supported Bernie when he needed her most!

Yes I agree, The greatest US President that never was.

I went to see Bernie Sanders in Liverpool on Tuesday night and he was very fearful of Trump getting into power and the threat that he and the far right would would have on democracy in the USA and around the world. So hearing what that guy said about democracy brings it home even more.

Why anybody ever thought Hilary was a better candidate than this guy is beyond me. He'd have crushed the 2016 election if he was running, and by now Trump would be a forgotten nobody left to the realms of history.

I’m an expat now in the states and have voted in both countries over the years. Voting for Bernie in two primary elections were my proudest moments voting. He’s one of the few US politicians who are on our side but I do worry there’s no one to follow in his footsteps. Maybe AOC. Best president we never had.

Bernie is 1yr older than Biden and still coherent, funny, eloquent and physically fit. I wish he could have won.

But he's also honest, and dedicated to what he believes. Age is irrelevant in that Obama was coherent, eloquent and physically fit, and struggled even to be a mediocrity, and only lives in the reflected glory of *not* being as disastrous as Trump. Biden, admittedly through progressive pressure, has been significantly better than Obama, even with his supposed shortcomings.
