The IDF has apologised for making a ‘grave mistake’ after seven aid workers were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Monday.
Among the seven aid workers killed, three were from the UK. They've been named as former Royal Marines Jim Henderson, 33, John Chapman, 57, as well as ex-soldier James Kirby, 47.
The workers were killed while travelling in marked vehicles as part of the World Central Kitchen's (WCK) charity convoy on Gaza’s coastal road in Deir Balah, central Gaza.
James O'Brien gives his take on the situation and concludes that "you can no longer pretend not to believe that everybody in Gaza is a target."

Then the convoy travelled far apart to minimise collateral damage in case one got hit, and the IOF hit all of them directly.

After the first vehicle was hit by a missile, they called the IDF coordination people to say they were aid workers under attack. They moved the injured from the first vehicle to the second. Then the second vehicle was hit some distance from the other two vehicles. They again moved survivors to vehicle three. That was then hit and killed the remaining aid workers. Between the first strike and the third we know time elapsed, as they were moving injured between vehicles. That gave the coordinators plenty of time to radio through to stop the attack.

Let's also ignore the fact that attack on the aid convoy was a multiple missile strike on 3 vehicles spanning about 1.5km and you think that somehow, multiple attacks on the same vehicles, clearly labelled as aid vehicles, who had coordinated with the IDF, not only that they were making an aid run, but agreed the time and route, was a mistake.
