It’s funny how James in both seasons wanted to get rid of the people that ended up winning the season... he was adamant about getting rid of Maggie and he was adamant about getting rid of Mike after Jase’s eviction (as well as Will). Give credit to Mike for playing a good game and credit to will and Danielle for playing great games as well... but how could James not be considered one of the smartest players in the game? It’s pretty amazing that he can do that the third week in on season 7 and the 4th, 5th, and 6th weeks on season 6

OMG right! I totally agree with you, plus he actually was going to nominate mike during his HoH but the S6 wanted Jase to be put up against Will and promised him that they were going after Chilltown next week but it didn't happen.

2 reasons 1. Janelle for as iconic and as legendary of a competitor she is was NEVER a good strategist, for someone who held so much power she made a lot of subpar decisions leading to non factors and allies getting sent home, James had little chance swaying her as unfortunately she never did look at the true big picture 2. In janelles defense though James comes off as very passive aggressive and frustrated when trying to talk to her, which janelle wasn't feeling, meanwhile Dr will was articulate, charismatic and most of all wasn't dogging janelle or yelling at her and that went a long way

Once James left the season crawled to a bitter end. Chill Town took out Danielle in a way that shouldn't have even been possible and at that point everyone left in the house was just a pawn for them.

No, he's one of the better BB6-BB7 players. He just can't pull through in the endgame.

He's a great player. Even Will himself said it. He's good strategically and good at comps. He's not that good socially but still 2/3 areas He's pretty good at. He's still a great player. An awful player is someone who's terrible at everything. James was the 2nd best player in season 6 and in season 7 he was about a top 5ish player. He's a great player but he's just too shady and that's why he got booted before he can win it all.

@StyleTechnical I mean his alliance was against putting up Chilltown. As when Janelle was HOH he wanted Will as the replacement. He's a great player but truthfully I feel like the Sov 6 kinda screwed his game in both seasons to give him the benefit of the doubt.
