Thank you, Dewey! Three guys had drones on this trip (and Austin had a 'real' Sony camera) and they all shared their footage afterwards. It was awesome!!

You're having trailers now - how cool is that! I am looking forward to the whole story. It looks amazing!

Thank you very much! I don't do a trailer for every trip, but I thought this one deserved one! 😁👍💯

Thanks, Thomas! I did have a blast! There were a couple of Class III's that had me a little anxious, but fortunately (for me) the river was low and nothing was real pushy. :)

So, that's the REAL James River. I live near another river *called* that (even the signs at bridges show that name), but the LEGAL name is "Dakota River" because Congress changed it in an Organic Act in the 1800's. BUT... the Dakotans (North AND South, since it is in both States) kept calling it by its first English name, and most still do today. However, the legal name is the source of the name of some businesses around these parts (e.g. Dakota River Ranch), because some of us know, and like, that UNIQUE name. There are TWO rivers known as "James", but there's only ONE Dakota River. :-)
