To me its so sad that Vivacious left Drag Race so soon - the amount of history and truth and realness she exudes in this video gives me *life*, and I would love to just sit and listen to her tell stories of the Clubs and our history for hours on end, as well as show the looks and attitude of the club off for the new queens to see and be reminded of where they came from.

That's a truly fantastic idea. Seriously, write into them on the usual email address and see if it could be arranged. It's as much about having that treasure trove of history and knowledge on record as it is that would be a devastatingly funny performance to see them play off each other.

Why the fuck did they eliminate Vivacious before she got a chance to share her stories on drag race?! When she speaks she offers real substance. She could have imparted actual meaning into drag race and could have offered actual lessons about what being gay and accepting who you are and loving yourself means, but instead we get to hear Adore talk about how she's been on American Idol every five minutes?! I just don't understand, what in the actual fuck RuPaul?

Really loved the conversation between James and Vivacious on this one. As a young gay person, It's shocking to me how gay people my age have no knowledge of what came before them. I'm totally against expecting certain people to enjoy certain things, but gay culture is so rich and exciting and it's currently being forgotten as it becomes absorbed into popular culture more and more.

Vivacious is my favourite queen ever. She brings me life. There's something regal about her; the way she presents herself with such grandeur. A true diva. " It's a shame sometimes that gays try to fit to one mold and we're not supposed to.We're not even supposed to conform to what the straights are telling us to do. Because to me, The word "GAY" means "Generations Ahead of Yesterday", And the straights are the yesterday. We've always been ahead. Everything we've done, they jump on board and take it over and pretend that they own it. I'm like:"Bitch we did that 5 years ago!" - Vivacious

I wish i could sit and talk to Vivacious for hours. I Agree with the term Generations ahead of yesterday, i use to get laughed at so many times for the things i use to wear, and now all these straight dudes are copying those trends. Its funny. It never bothered me tho. Gay people lead the trends in fashion anyways. We're slowly feminizing males lol and if you don't like it go find some straight clothing designers.
@SeanStrife
@SeanStrife 10 жыл бұрын
What straight clothing designers? But seriously, even as a straight male, I can identify with thinking ahead to the future and trying to set that standard, although I don't know if "feminizing males" is an accurate term because gender roles have been becoming an obsolete concept for decades and it's just now gotten to a point to where the gender roles being obsolete have become noticeable. It's a sign of the times and its time for society to progress forward, and if gay truly does mean "Generations Ahead of Yesterday"... then lead us to the promised land.
