He motivates me so much, sometimes I always tell myself ''one day I will be as good as him, & have an awesome life exactly like his'' I always just try to make the best out of my 1/2 acer yard since I may not have a pro track,hitech machinery,big jumps,or anyone to help me,but I always tell myself 'What would James do ? If he was me,would he give up since he doesnt have big jumps or would he make the best out of what there is' And i just think of him and that helps me push myself to not give up.

So very proud of you James!!! I'm a new SX/MX fan and just love watching you ride:) my husband just had me watch this video and I'm embarrassed by the comment made at the Alabama track when you were s kid:( there is no excuse for stupidly. Keep up the good job and I'm really hoping to meet you at Budd's Creek in June;)

Thats some serious commitment right there. And I thought JS had it a little bit too easy. Just goes to show, you gotta know the story behind the person before you can judge who they really are. Great all around guy and athlete. He's earned my respect.

@iceee187 you're only speaking in terms of Haines City. I grew up there for 4 yrs of my life. But I'm from Winter Haven. Children have no control over where their parents place them or how the city is run by officials. I never said James was a bad person. My wife is a local teacher and told me a story about how James was asked to talk to the kids at a local school. He didn't do it! Hey, he did show up at the HC MLK Parade this yr. BTW, I am black and my son races at the same tracks he did. ; )

I dont care what race you are, it takes balls to compete against people that might just not like you and you have to hope that you fit in while doing it.

@iceee187 @iceee187 And theres more than one mall within 30 miles. But that has nothing to do with anything. There are hundreds of schools in that same distance. James has never been to one of em. How about Boys Clubs and Girls Clubs? Hasn't been to them either. Here's a vid of my son practicing in Dade City where James did most of his racing growing up. He's only been riding a year now and rides probably once a week. Type in (Jhamir Scott @ Dade City MX practice).

@SkeeboDa1 I'm not racist at all. If I was I wouldnt have had black kids from Uganda stay at my house for a weekend for a children's choir. but just because i disagree with you you have to pull out the race card and think it will solve all your problems. I never brought up race. you did. that makes you the one that was being racists. James is a great rider (lost 2 seasons in a row but still good) that doesn't mean he has to be cocky. Reed and villo won without being cocky. he doesnt need to be
@lsamonster12 жыл бұрын
@Ride1Rob do you this guy personally? don't be judging people and talking about them when you don't know anything. just cause he doesn't go to your broke ass, and give you a cookie doesn't mean he's not a punk like you. props to js
@ProCircuitHonda13 жыл бұрын
Alot of us have made black jokes but we just kid around, xD but some people take it too far. All he wanted to do was ride dirtbikes and win and beat peoples asses on that 50. IDC what he is. He wants to win and thats what he did.

@elhenry7 LOL, I never said he's not a good kid. James has lost A LOT of support here because he snubs his nose at the community. I'm talking about school functions, Boys/Girls clubs, showing that you want to be apart of the community because as of yet he has done nothing! Tracy McGrady, Ray Lewis, Omare Stoudemire to name a few at least do something and make themselves available to the community. Bubba.... Zero, zilch, nada!
@SkeeboDa113 жыл бұрын
@snakelord12 you just can't handle the truth is all, and my guess would be it's probably more so because he is black. It's cool though, haters gotta have freedom to express too.

@mattsisawsome did you ever watch his show on fuel? thats all he does is chase girls, he is like tiger woods, no work ethic at all
@Ride1Rob12 жыл бұрын
Yeah, this story is very nice! But James Jr and Sr. snub their nose at the same community they came from. It's sad when kids right here from Winter Haven that come from the same poverty they did have never met him, seen him, or don't even know who he is. He's never given back a damn thing. No community talks, no school functions, nothing!
