yeah I raced with this kid and trust me... he's stupid fast. The reason he bounces the bike off the rev limiter it because he has an old school style of riding incorporating a lot of whips that require the use the the gas mid air.. also, he developed that riding style on a two stroke so naturally at first the switch wouldn't be as easy going to a 4 stroke. As you can see though, he clearly knows what he's doing..

@Kacz101stABNDIV uh dude, 2 strokes are supposed to ridden on the rev limiter, you listen to a good 2 stroke rider and they're on the revs all the time, slipping the clutch to keep the revs UP. That's where the power is on a 2 stroke powerband. 4 strokes on the other hand, have more torque (and power) in the lower RPM, well, it's still high, but not actually ON the limiter like a 2 stroke. And when you rev a four stroke, you've bouncing the valves/valvesprings/pistonrods around a hell of a lot.

to all the people who say its not bad for the engine it cant be any further from the truth,on his level maybe so cos the bike will be stripped by his team and all internals replaced with only a few hours use.A rev limiter is only to prevent blow ups or immediate damage.On a club level even with propper maintenance you'll be lucky to get 35 hrs out of an engine top end before having to change the whole valve train including cams.Tuning shops can tell a riding style just by inspection of parts

kawi, suzuki, yamaha, honda and ktm do not have any bikes equipped with a 6 speed transmission. The only thing that didnt have a 5 speed was the one time that ktm's 450 (09 i think) had a 4 gear transmission. But nothing with a 6 speed.

I can't see why people are nagging about his style? This kind of riding is not bad for the engine. I didn't say it was good but the rev limiter is there to save the engine. If it still could harm the engine it would be on a lower RPM. Get it? Just check valves and change oil when you should and it will hold!
