I first saw this concert on PBS and bought the tape, but can't help pulling it up on You-tube to listen to in the office - sure beats the elevator music here. Thanks Jimbo, you are the best.

I believe this concert was in 1988 at the Boston Colonial Theatre. His encore song was "Sweet Baby James" - just James and his guitar. Doesn't get any better than that. LuckysMusic, please post more tunes from that concert if you can. "Fire and Rain" and "Carolina In My Mind", please.

Don Grolnick must've really enjoyed doing that piano solo from 6:34 to 7:01. I could tell he was digging it.

Dan Dugmore and Leland Sklar originally played on "Everyday".

Intro to "Everyday": "This is a song that was written...ah, let's see...written by Buddy Holly for Buddy Holly back when Buddy Holly wrote it for himself." Some James Taylor comedic brilliance to go along with his musical brilliance.
