What I love about James Taylor is that he always performs the song exactly the same way it was written. He doesn’t go off in crazy riffs. Doesn’t try to change it up. Just a simple ballad, with a natural voice and yet still gives off the same emotional impact. Love him.

James Taylor bowing in respect for Taylor Swift. What a gentle, humble man......got to love that. Wish we had more humbleness from all of us in this life............. We would be much better for it!

Two musical legends admiring each other’s work. Taylor Swift, in particular, isn’t just a musical genius, but also a lovely human being and a most generous soul. She deserves all the success that she has earned.

Two of my favorite people. I have been blessed to see JT twice this year…in North Carolina and at Tanglewood. I left both concerts so moved I was crying. 💖

43 years ago at the time of this comment, I bought my first Jame's Taylor album and played it all through my senior year of high school. I cried, danced, wrote poetry while I listened. I still have that exact same album. How amazing to see him with Taylor Swift for my first time, and now she is mega-famous around the world. Unbelievable.

Fair dues to Taylor Swift. She took on the task of a different music from a different generation. I could see she really respected James Taylor. She is a confident, savy, and a good looking young woman.

I’m 21 years old and have loved Taylor’s music since I was like 7 years old. Seeing that she loves the music that I’ve grown up on and loved since birth like James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, etc.. makes me so happy

Everyone should read or listen to James Taylor’s autobiography. He narrates the audible version. I cried when I listened to it. I think he and Taylor Swift mark a great musical duo.

Wow. He's been my favorite forever. What a tremendous moment. What it must mean to him to know that this global superstar is named after him...and for her to be sharing this moment with the icon that she is named after. And i didnt think I could be more impressed with Taylor...and then here she is paying tribute to such a legend and showing us the depth of her soul and character. Just wow. ❤

Natasha Kiehne That was not singing...HE was singing, she pretended to play guitar then did an out of tune vocal which was so lame she could have been sleeping. She should never put herself up to a incredibly famous and talented musician and singer, because the difference between their level of talent you could drive a truck through.

+Jeff Gordon she is actually playing the guitar not miming... haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate lol ;P also he obviously thought she was talented enough to grace her with the pleasure of his musical company.

He was plugging his new album. I never said she's not talented. On this particular performance she seemed lazy and was disappointed. I like her. I think she's a grat songwriter. She just has a weak voice that needs auto tune and 4 background singers to strengthen her voice. I don't hate her...I have her first two albums.

+Jeff Gordon She has gotten a little better. I figure it will come with age but she isn't writing grown up songs yet. This was a huge improvement over her duet with Stevie Nicks- that one was really really bad.
