Who R U talkin' 'bout? Thunderbird Davis was a great soul blues singer from Houma, Louisiana, think didn't play guitar in public?

Correct. This is another performer with the same name as opposed to the great blue singer who was associated with Eddie 'Guitar' Slim' Jones and who also recorded for Black Top in the 1990s.
