Whenever Holyfield was in a serious trouble then he started to use his headbutt against his opponent. He's one of the dirtiest fighters in the H.W. Division.

Toney is a man he absorb Holyfield punches and let loose on Holyfield and his defense is outstanding.

Holyfield came out strong but Toney only let him get some shots in and gain confidence so he could shatter that confidence…scary how good Toney was at this point in his career…all time great

Announcer with dumb comment about Marciano. The guy was a clever boxer, a cutie, making guys miss, luring opponents to throw what he wanted so he could could counter off it, always thinking ahead and forcing the fight on his terms. That's what Toney drew on from Marciano, not simply "determination". Lots of punch drunk pugs out there who had tons of determination, but miniscule ring intelligence. Marciano was not just a slugger, and Toney was a crafty boxer in the same old-school style.

@GSTE_4 ай бұрын
@@traviswest5733 Both wins do count by you have to consider that not every fighter ages the same. There is a reason why George Foreman and Larry Holmes were one of the only people from the 70s fighting in the 90s. Holyfield's style relied on speed and timing to be able to catch his opponents with counters. This obviously went with either age, or from the amounts of direct hits he took over the years.

see, this aint Samuel peters. peters was clubbing this man on the exchange, even if it wasn't a textbook punch. that's why he won. he damaged the smaller man, while holyfield is trying to fight with the slick puncher.
