I thought this fight was closer than the first. The Brits like a boxing match while the Americans like a fight, so very often appearances count for a lot. Lennox's jabs count for less in the States than Evanders rushing in with wild swipes. Also Lennox seems always to break and then stand with his arms by his side while Evander has his arms up and is bouncing about. I think Lennox won the first fight by a good margin, maybe these judges felt a little embarrassed about the first result.

Lewis won the first five clearly, only two shots of any note from Holyfield in that time (his single shot in the fifth wasn't enough to get him that round, Lewis landed three or four more than him.) In the 6th Holyfield's pressure began to tell. The 8th round was the closest of the fight, but the key round was a dull one - the 10th. Lewis just eased the round. After 10 I agreed completely with HBO, Lewis four ahead, with the 10th requiring Holyfield to get knockdowns. 116-112 Lewis. If you want to give the 8th to Holyfield, then 115-113, but that'd be generous. Can't really get it closer - you'd have to desperately overrated the 5th round single shot Holyfield landed and give him that round to get the draw on the card.
