James Woods in "The Specialist" was one of his best performances of his career. I think he's one of the most intriguing and the rawest actors onscreen. I love how he transforms into his characters and this film was a perfect example of his craft.

The best scene in the film and Woods is the reason why the film has lasted in my memory since childhood. It's fantastic when these little moments of creative spontaneity can sneak into the machine of a huge studio production.
