hi can you show us how "glow in the dark max " clear paint from rust-oleum on a car will look ?

Never heard of that. I used normal glow in the dark paint from Rustoleum and it turns a powdery white color. I did do a video on glow in the dark Bedliner paint job though check my videos

Looks good. Forever ago I had a car got backed into n damaged just the door. The guys insurance Co wanted to total the car bc the paint had faded and to repaint it they would have to do the whole car. I told them cut me a check kept the car replace the door flat blacked it n eventually sold it. Older paint is harder to paint match unfortunately so insurance companies will total cars now just over paint.

Yeah his car has some clear issues in spots so this fender might look better but at least it won't be dented up and that's just crazy how they wanna total everything out now days.

@JamesDguy yeah. Seems like doesn't take much to total some out especially Hondas it seems even the newer ones. Nothing holds value like it used to n replacement parts are so expensive now days.

​@@negotiable_terms1848wait till you find out about hail dents😜 it is all about if the repair costs exceed a certain percentage of the cars value. So even a bunch of tiny hail dents can total a car out if the cost to fix them is too much.

Inflatable paint booth you might be able to rent one. It's too cold outside to paint in that temp and humidity would be a factor too.

Paint plus primer works good. I only like to primer if a panel is a different color than the rest of the car

I found out sometimes you do not want to get the actual color to the car Why say that is I actually got the right color I don't know if it's glitter or if it's Some kind of pearl But I found it the hard way when I used it on my stepdad's vehicle to fill in some Rock chips clean out the rust and taped it around it and sprayed it I was thinking it would be a good idea to send it when I went to sand it whatever the sparkle or the pearl it was so much in the can it made a opposite color Reason why it did what it did is mostly when they put that color on they put the clear code with the glitter or the pearl on top of it So to fix it I have to send it and remove the color and actually put a glass black on it it looks like the color of the car only Dang it don't have the little glitter or pearl on it it looks like I forgot the clear code on it a wait later and see if there's some way I can get just a clear coat with the glitter or pearl in it and put it on top👍🎨🚘💫💥💫❤️‍🔥💯😎

Thanks for the input! Yeah having a good primer that matches the factory primer helps make the color match just right but color matching can be tricky. I prefer doing an entire car!

I painted in my car with Speedkote single stage white I made a couple of mistakes because it was my first time painting. I tried to touch it up with Rustom single stage spray paint and the spots turned gray. Was wondering if you might know why.

2 different types of paint and not all colors match perfectly unless your using oem color match. I painted my new fenders Rustoleum smoke grey just like i did to the whole car yet the fenders turned out different i realized the Rustoleum smoke grey 5-1 cans are a different shade than the Rustoleum smoke gray in the normal cans. Both are smoke gray but one's different than the other.
