Never judge a book by its cover. He's an articulate, educated man. If you walked by him in the street, you'd never know who is he is or what he was part of. As he said, he isn't a gangster, he doesn't claim to be - he was a racketeer, a businessman who profits from crime.

No doubt Michael has done some very bad things , the mafia life seems to be a dog eat dog World, no loyalty and one step away from an early grave , however it takes a special mindset to navigate that life & like it or not enormous bravery to walk away . It's obvious he's a intelligent guy , and he is very likeable, this goes to show you can change your life and genuine respect to Michael for doing just that .

Michael Franzese looks great for 72 and is a really nice man ,so what he was a racketeer great at it too…pity he got caught I know it was wrong and he paid for it ,solitary confined in fed super max that’s tough,sammy the bull lost all his hair and teeth being in the solitary,but he had his chance to stay out with the gotti stuff ,he probably missed the life of crime I don’t know about the ecstasy case with him I just know that he went bk to prison. Sammy is down to earth ,swears his head off haha but Michael has class if he would of gone straight he would of been brilliant no matter what profession he wanted ,he reminds me as an entrepreneur more than a doctor,
