I thank you for doing things like this. It not only gives an interesting view on the reality of how these organizations/families/clubs did things vs. Hollywood portrayal, but also give those of us with indirect ties a chance to hear stories that never got shared. A good friend of mine (like a brother to me) belonged to the Hell's Angels for a long time. He's unfortunately gone now, but there were curious questions I just didn't dare ask (no matter how many times he'd told me it was ok to do so). I used the advice my grandfather gave me in reference to soldiers who had seen combat: "don't ever ask. Let them TELL you when they're ready to". My friend told me he liked the sound of that and said it was good advice.

It's very surreal to see figures like these sit down and have a podcast talking about stuff like this, It's such an insight into how these things worked, that people from back then would have had an aneurysm over in the 60s-80s and now it's just... on youtube for goodfellas or casino fans like myself to sit and watch and get this little bit of an understanding of, it's actually crazy and personally, I think it's really cool that Michael does this, it takes the veneer off of the stylized life that we all saw in old movies and tv shows and presents the life for what it truly was.

Its a so big inspiration to hear about your life which made me even look at some mafia movies/other type of series that you recommended just because you really hooked me and Im so happy for you to be alive not only in the flesh but in the spirit as well. God bless you brother. The best thing that can happen is when you hear about peoples turning their life around and especially as a fellow christian it is even more motivating when the reason is a true geniune faith. I dont care what peoples say, I know I believe, you know you believe and I know you believe as I can see it in your eyes, actions and way of life.. actions speak louder than words any day. Keep going strong and it would be a dream coming true for me to meet you in person, but I know that would not happen so sending you this message with gratitude for what you do I guess is good enough. Michael, they learned the RICO act from Italy. In Italy if someone is brought in for questioning and they drop a name, law enforcement goes after that person and they can hold them indefinitely just because someone else said their name. This is how they broke up La Cosa Nostra in Sicily. This of course left a vacuum that Camorra and N'Drangheta filled the space. The structure of Camorra and N'Drangheta are totally different than La Cosa Nostra so it has been a lot harder to get to them with the same tactics. Being from Naples I know how the Camorra works very well. It is like a hydra, if you cut off 1 head, 2 more grow out of it. I lived in San Diego for 7 years and met a few 1%ers there. They are great guys. Remind me of Navy SEALs. The nicest guys with the capacity to do bad things. Love these conversations. Thanks for sharing and I hope all is well! God Bless!
