Yeah exactly! For example, Ariana's "No Tears Left to Cry" MV fits the mellow and 'after-rain' feeling of the song, with Ariana herself not doing any of the dances. While in this MV, it prolly fits a more upbeat song rather than something that sounds like a soft Femme Fatale.
@gucciasalways3 жыл бұрын
I mean, I’m not a professional so this is just my opinion, but from the little I saw I’d say the dancing was bad. Note: I spend all of my free time watching dance videos and therefore am used to incredible dancing, so it’s possible my expectations are too high-but, she seemed to have v little actual control over her limbs during the movement. I have this problem too when I dance (long arms without enough muscle control), and it tends to manifest as looking a bit sloppy or awkward (a lack of cleanliness), which is what it looks like in her dancing. There might be other things, but that’s what stood out to me, and for a professional song and music video with choreography (which doesn’t *have* to be included) and a woman who became famous for her dancing, I’d definitely consider it a lack of skill. But if an actual professional wants to correct me, feel free bc maybe she’s technically good and I just don’t see it :’)

I feel like her dancing is good, but the main issue is that it doesn’t go well with the music. She’s going so damn hard when the songs energy and vocals don’t go that hard. Her intensity is seen as super extra because the song itself is not at the same intensity.

As someone who has danced for 4 years.......... it’s not good. She just isn’t “sharp” enough. Like her movements just don’t hit like her backup dancers. It’s a bit messy. I honestly feel bad that people are clowning her so hard tho😭

personally, as a dancer, I just think that the choreo is WAY too high energy and filled with super powerful movements and it just looks stupid paired with the relaxed, summery beat of the song. If she had a more peppy, flowy choreo it would look much better. Or if the song just went super hard and had an instrumental that matched the energy level of the choreo it would look better. Then again, some of the dance moves also just look stupid no matter what song you put them to so moral of the story is she needs to fire her choreographer 😂

@@TheRoganExperiencexx the problem is that the song is incredibly BORING. I get a feeling they tried a softer gentler more relaxed version of the ava max song which is hype as fuck and about everyone, while this one is well about her lol. This is just boring and the fact that she doesn't go all out and spout in our faces how great she is so it can at least be somewhat memorable really drags the song down a lot. The lyrics are simply terrible so no point in talking about them. The melody is simple almost non-existent and boring. I mean I honestly don't care I've never heard about any of these people but when you work with somewhat famous producers you expect at least a bit more effort not a blatant cash grab.

dancer/choreographer here, people are trashing her dancing because the timing is a bit odd (could be because of the editing or smth). She essentially has no talent, yet she gets to ‘write’ and shoot a very well produced song and music video with a really good budget, yet there are so many small creators who are so much better at this than she is and they get nothing. I still hate the song, and the dance moves too, but I mostly hate the fact that she gets this, and a lot of other things, handed to her because she does a couple of stupidly easy dance moves on tiktok.
