tbh this reminds me of the Cowsills in the 1960s and 1970s. 6 siblings (they had a 7th, but he wasn’t in the band) who sang in a band with their mom. their dad was the manager. they put on a very close-knit, happy, family-friendly persona but decades later it was revealed that their dad emotionally abused them and beat the shit out of them and they were completely fucked up. after the band broke up, they went years and years with rarely talking to each other. 4 of the siblings are still alive and now perform together but at this point they’re all 62-73 years old… but regardless, they were and still are extremely talented and one of my favorite bands ever lol. obviously every sibling had a huge passion for music but the dad was very controlling and everything the public saw was a facade, the media was forced to present them as a bubblegum pop catholic family. just kinda concerned that might be the case for this family.

Why is there so much of this Authoritarian personality projection. Listen, if your parents are well off, love and support you, and have traditional values then chances are you turn out the same. Would they be less "conditioned" if they were conditioned into progressive atheism instead? Someone teaches your kids values it might as well be you. Once you watch videos and like them your fyp should change and update to have more of the things you like but there are people who end up with the same basic fyp Almost forgot to mention, basic for tiktok would include videos of dancing to popular songs, doing facial expressions to popular songs, and it’s typically dominated by white boys and girls The opposite of straight tiktok is alt tiktok, which is a lot more random and spontaneous and has many different types of people from differing backgrounds(this is typically where you want to be when it comes to tiktok) And then of course there’s smaller subsections that are dedicated to specific things like one direction tiktok or anime TikTok
