Also, I had the novelization of Gremlins 2. The scene with Hulk Hogan is replaced with Brain Guy Gremlin (or Glasses) locking the author in the toilet and writes a chapter about himself.

Not exactly, the movie titles back then were worse. Back to the Future, Predator, Total Recall, Jaws, the list goes on and on. This was a rare good movie title of any year. Spiderman 2 The game was also really good, yet this game and that one were anomalies. There's a reason as to why most movie games are awful.

I have no idea why people ever thought he was called Spike. Even though they don't say the name "mohawk" in the movie, it says that Frank Welker has the voice of Mohawk in the credits. and about the tomato in the game, they make those in the lab and he throws it against the wall as it bounces back into his hands

Jason Smith There were two cuts originally. The scene with Hogan was just supposed to be shown in cinemas as it's a fourth wall break that refers directly to people watching it in a theatre. It was cut out for home video release as it was thought the joke wouldn't work, but it was later put back in for later TV screenings.

If you play an EUR game on a NTSC NES, it goes faster instead, a lot of current multi-cart games features an EUR version of Parodius that happens that, sound and gameplay is faster (and sometimes even the screen doesn't fit on the TV), also... the sound is wrong.

I'm pretty sure from what I remember. If you get the P capsules it makes your attack a spread or more powerful attack to deal with the tougher enemies. And they stack on each other. The only catch is you have to start from the beginning every time to get the most powerful attacks. The final boss is almost impossable with using continues.

Do women like slapstick? I showed my wife this movie and she thought it was garbage. The divorce papers are pending until I get the results back from Airplane!

There’s a scene in the lab at the beginning of the film where a scientist shows off a special serum that makes tomatoes tougher when they are shipped to grocery stores hence they bounce.

Pro tip, get extra lives before you get the match. Next, get the power up after you get the match. Next, get extra lives so you don't lose the power up. Lastly, practice the jump A LOT as it will save your butt in the late levels

Why are the graphics so monochromatic? Looks like a GameBoy game played on the Super Gameboy.
@Shinmsl
@Shinmsl 6 жыл бұрын
Sometimes they sacrificed colors in order to have bigger and more detailed graphics. There isn't that big of a hardwarde difference between Nes and Gameboy for that matter, classic Gameboy looked worse because of the screen, which didn't factor in in the case of Super Gameboy.

Might have something to do with the sprite and tile palette limitations of the NES. Besides, the game takes place in an office building, how colorful did you expect it to be?

dreamlandnightmare welcome to gaming before laser disc lol this game is really pushing the NES to its limits. Ghostbusters 2 was another one that really pushed it. It’s not complex by any means by today’s standards- but us oldies dig this crap.

I saw a version of this game with better colors, I don't know whether or not it's a hack. Maybe the Pal version has different colors.

Got this for my 9th birthday. Picked it out., great game I was really impressed when I beat it as a kid. It's a gauntlet of a game your timing and memorization of enemy patterns is the key. Beat it again last year another sunsoft classic
