There is a glitch in blaster master that allows you to beat bosses while the game is paused. All you have to do is pause the game at the same moment you hit the boss with a grenade. You have to leave it paused for a while as the boss takes damage.

"Is that giant frog related to Fred?" According to the games' novelization, that giant frog IS Fred. I used to love those books when I was a kid, I wish Nintendo would have put more of those books out. I had Ninja Gaiden, Wizards and warriors, Blaster master, I read through Ninja Gaiden and Blaster master in particular obsessively as a kid, and surprisingly they still hold up. Also in the book, there was already an alien bounty hunter or something similar to Samus piloting the tank and Jason teams up with her and a neighbor friend of his who also lost a pet that becomes one of the game bosses.

​@@remiv.8897 Watching other people play games is already a common thing. This could be like that, but with ridiculous strategies and movements that a human would have great difficulty replicating. You could just hook up the AI, sit back and watch as it absolutely annihilates opponents in a fighting game, or performs crazy stunts in a racing game. Not for everyone, but there's already a large audience receptive to watching games passively, so it isn't far fetched by any means

There was a novelization of Blaster Master, as well as other titles like Mega Man. In that book, the Sophia (the tank) is driven by an alien hot girl so it makes sense. The radioactive box mutates the pet, and other things. And Jason loves chocolate. Also, on some bosses, if you pause after hitting the boss will keep taking damage while the game is paused
