Do you think the Lions should eventually give Jameson Williams a contract extension?

I don't think he'll get his extension until after they pick up his 5th year option. Year 1 he missed almost entirely, and he's had 2 separate suspensions. He's basically at the development level of a 2nd year player right now. So, I think they'll go through next season before considering what kind of extension he's earned. I don't think he would even want an extension right now anyway because it wouldn't be nearly as big as what it would be after next year if he keeps himself clean all year and stays productive.

By giving Goff such a poor grade, it gives them an opportunity to rip on him, calling him “clumsy.” Seems to be a common theme among the so-called “experts.” Yes, Ben Johnson calls the plays, but it is Goff’s job to make sure they get into the right play every snap by reading what the defense is giving. He processes so quickly and is so freaking accurate, but the media is stuck in 2021 mode where he wasn’t good enough for McVey, so he must be flawed in some way. The W/L record and eye test says he is an ELITE QB, but no one outside Detroit media gives him credit for it.

Pff grading Caleb higher than Goff in this game is exactly what’s wrong with Pffs grading system. It makes zero sense. I saw Caleb miss open wrs multiple times this game. He wasn’t better than Goff at any point in this game. That’s why when people use pff as an agument as to why their player is better I laugh.

Goff played better than Caleb the whole game. This is exactly why Pffs grading system is messed up. This is why I don’t listen to anyone that tried to argue why their player is better because of a pff grade lol. The grading system is extremely flawed and if the people at PFF even can’t achknowelde that to themselves then they are lying to themselves.

The flaw in your grading system is winning QBs consistently have a lower grade then losing QBs when I watch these videos. Is it just garbage time passing stats allowing Caleb to have an 85ish grade versus Goffs mid 60s grade? I watched the game and it wasn't really close who was the better QB yesterday.

The stat which told the story was the final score. PFF is filler around the edges of what actually counts. It's bad enough that many of the grades seem arbitrary, made worse by the "black box" nature of the grading system.

Don't get ahead of yourselves. The Vikings have to beat the Packers next week for Week 18 to likely matter. If Lions beat SF and Vikings lose to Packers - Lions don't even need to win in Week 18, they'll have the 1 seed in hand.

So the losing QB for the team that has lost 9 in a row and is routed by a 3 score difference gets a grade that is 13 plus points higher than a top MVP candidate QB who threw the long ball for an 82 yard backbreaking TD and then totally duped the Bears defense with Oscar nod stumble and TD throw to LaPorta while committing no turnovers and gaining more yards on offense. Ouch! At this point it is clear you don't watch the games. Your analysis is an embarrassment.
