Lions have scored 40 or more points in 37% of their games this year. Minnesota has scored 40 or more points only once. If the Lions defense can just hold up against Minnesota this week I think their offense can do what it needs to win that game.

It's going to be a shootout for sure, and peak entertainment. Win or lose both are going to be great in the playoffs

Gotta out score teams from here on out. Getting the ball in Jamo’s hands will certainly help that. 🤙🏻✌️

I think the defense shows out from here to the superbowl. The rest of the games they're gonna have an insane crowd backing them. Last year Ford field was nuts, this year's gonna be even wilder. The crazy loud crowd to go with constant blitzes may not be to bad. Speed up the QB and good things happen
@johnschoch53252 күн бұрын
Good point on Jameson Williams being found earlier in the progression. I think it's real and also important to the offense. I also think you're right on with the way Jamo is catching the ball cleaner. He had drops early in his career and sometimes let the ball play him so to speak. It appears all of that is gone. Maybe he's joining St. Brown on the jug machine? Happy New Year and GO LIONS!

Thank you so much on the “hands catching” comment. I played receiver through college and have coach the in the subsequent 15 years, there are several situations when it is not only okay, but better to use your body when catching! Great observation!
@joshlewis5752 күн бұрын
Seeing him finally getting more involved makes me hype for the playoffs. His ability to take any touch to the house from anywhere on the field is game changing. Could never understand how such a dynamic weapon would only get 1, 2, 3 if he was lucky touches. He should get at least 10 targets a game and a few runs, every single game

Raymond might be back for next week. Jamo is fully integrated in the offense. I also think they were trying to get him 1000 yards receiving.

Excellent analogy. Thank you. Its about time Jamo is being utilized. There is a reason that the Lions have so many weapons, its to outlast a seanson that could have injuries and still be strong in the playoffs. Nobody was thinking that the injuries would be all on the defensive side.

Honestly was wondering why the Lions weren't using Jamo more for outside sweeps(?) and flat out go routes. He doesn't seem fragile, and speed kills. But hey, there are a lotta mouths to feed as you said. Good problem to have if you're a Lions fan.

I would love to see you do a video of all the motions, shifts, and fake reverse that the Lions are doing with Penei Sewell. It felt like they wanted to put some variations on tape and see what they get from different o-line shifts and combos, also including some 7 o-linemen looks. Thanks for your videos and your insight!

On the hook and lateral that wasn't a block in the back at all. Patrick was literally ahead of him and dropped back to make the block on the front of his inside shoulder. I thought the same thing watching in in real time but the different angles show he was definitely in front of him and blocked as the defender was trying to get around him from behind. Yeah, Jamo has all the confidence right now. He's like 40 something yards away from his goal of 1,000 yards this season.

You mentioned the block by Patrick. If you watch the side judge from the end zone angle clip, he was watching Williams feet to make sure he didn't step out of bound and then turned towards the end zone to signal TD. I think if he was looking up instead of down, the outcome may have been different. That block was definitely on the fringe.
