One of the most beautiful renditions of one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Thank you James for all of it. I'm 73 now - you have provided the soundtrack of my life.

I am always evaluating my (57 year old) music library and this little hidden gem by JT is my #1 song across all genres ... for all of time. For me, there is just some magic in it's melody and lyrics. The song has evolved from the October Road album to live renditions with various chorus singers and it just gets better with age.

Hauntingly beautiful. I can't begin to imagine my life without JT's singing and his songs.

I dont know how to properly articulate the way JTs music makes me feel. And yet its clear that everyone who hears it, loves it, and feels the same way. Its like listening to life happening through music. It touches your mind, heart, body, and soul. Im sorry that i will never get the chance, along either every other human that loves JT, to tell him myself in person. If only we could each share that with him, i still think it wouldnt be enough. Thank you JT for all you give to your music and the world. 💙💙

This is a man who touches your soul... he awakens you, makes you think. I've been listening to J. T. all of his career... He kept me sane when I was going crazy, kept me Calm when I needed to Calm, but mostly he made me think... he made me realize any of us can be whoever we want to be... starting right now! Most of all, long ago (the 60s n 70s) He gave us hope! He was an instrumental influence On my youth, my thinking, and who I am today. I am grateful.

This song will forever remind me of my Uncle Eric who passed away a number of years ago. He was like a second dad to me. He still watches my back and still lights my way.

Tanglewood chorus friends!!! Love, love, love it!!!! 😊 Tanglewood and the Berkshires are the best!!!!! 👍👍 I love visiting my family there. Through the years, everything has changed in that area too!!!! In the 1960s, I loved how sparse and wood zee it was back then!!! Everything builds up and changes as time goes by. ☹ Thank you, JT!!!
