Arnold complements James' voice beautifully, and kudos to James for allowing Arnold to shine with the solo spot. A lot of big artists' egos would never let something like that happen!

One of my fav - 1976 ! Bought “IN THE POCKET “ my first album of many ! Thank you-special music man : voice , guitar , and musicians !! I’m now 74 have listened since approx . 1975 ! From FRESNO, CALI.

I always stop to listen to this song, just beautiful lyrics and Walter's back up only adds to the richness of it. Here in 2024 we certainly need to hear "things will only turn out right ...." , gotta hang on to that thru November.

So beautifully performed. On a sweet August night 25 years later, James Taylor and his All-Star Band visited upon us this song of hope. Two weeks earlier, a severe storm passed through Long Island, with some communities experiencing the unimaginable, or so it seemed. Seeing and hearing James and company was a reminder that beauty is never far from us, and to remember love.

I first heard Kim Carnes on Midnight Special singing Sailin’. I was a fan from then. I bought the LP the next day. Bette Davis Eyes wasn’t a personal favorite.
