As far as filter try to find a good used pressure filter not the small plastic ones. In the states we use one called an ultima 2. They are really easy to clean. Backwash Rinse back to filter mode. Like u said coming home from work you don't want to be cleaning sponge or brushes. Because a grow out pond gona have more food and waste.

Take the stopcock off, put the 90 where the stopcock is and put the stopcock between the two 90s

Yes, a Multibay does require more maintenance time than a drum or Nexus but NOT daily maintenance! I’ve run 2 Multibays on my 4000 gal Koi pond for more than 20 years but only really do a weekly clean and flush and never have any Ammonia or Nitrite issues!

I would build a filter out of bricks like the pond, with 3 chambers filled with brushes, instead of the drum filter. And the biology through the bakki shower filled with lotus root bacteria house. This way it’s easy to clean and maintain and nothing can break. Greetings from germany 🇩🇪

Hi Jamie’s To solve your problem with Fibreglas filter with flexing and leaking you need to a stainless steel angle from outside and add two extra bolts and nuts to each baffle on each side

I new you wouldn't end up using that filter on your grow on pond because i new you wasn't happy with it so yes take it up to the farm for a cattle drink 😂

Because I am the koi whisperer but completely understand but I want to have more time in my next project up the studio and only way I can do that is to no the pond at home runs on its own

Hello james on one of your videos you had a pipe going across the multi-bay filter for your mounting tree brushes, can I ask where you get the connection for tightening up the pipe that going across, I wanted to hook up some brushes like what you was thinking of.
