Find it interesting that old maps show the high point where the church now stands as being 12 feet above sea level. In 1948 the maps showed the same thing. As did the 1960s update and....wait for it, wait for it...the 21st century typographical maps shows the same 12 foot elevation above sea level. Hmmmm
