@@aKBnB - I'd say don't worry so much about awards. Try to learn what ingredients your skin loves, and what works for it, and then hunt around for what people you trust (like James) say in their reviews about it. If you can, try to get a sample and then go from there.

⁠@@aKBnBit is convoluted! i've honestly stopped caring about all these "best of" awards... i just look at reviews and ingredients instead. new products will inevitably have a much smaller pool of reviews so go for products that have been out for a while.

My head hurts still from my Basal Cell Carcinoma surgery Monday, but it really helps to keep putting a glob of Vaseline on it as doc said to do. If I forget I can feel the stitches tightening & the throbbing is stronger. I'm still in love with the TirTir products y'all recommended a while back. 🤠

That’s the best for the healing. If you haven’t tried silicone strips yet, keep in mind for when you’re out and about. They are the best for keeping it clean and protected from the sun. I had a big chunk o’cheek taken out and those strips really helped it heal. All my best and F cancer!

Would love a favorite unscented product vid! I love k beauty but some products have too much fragrance/irritatants for me. I always look up products with great ingredient lists but they have bergamot or essential oils that break me out 😓

very real. so so many kbeauty products have bergamot or lavender oil and my skin hates both with a passion. Brands I'd feel comfortable recommending for fully fragrance free lines are pyunkang yul, mixsoon. both cater to atopic or skin that experiences dermatitis easily. klairs and haruharu wonder are also great brands that make fragrance free versions of their best selling products (klairs supple preparation toner, haruharu wonder toner and creams are examples)

Try Taiwanese skincare! It’s so underrated but really good. Everyone talks about Korean, Japanese, and Chinese beauty, but Taiwanese skincare (and makeup) is fantastic. Some skincare brands are Dr Wu, Neogence, Naruko, Dr Morita, etc.

Have you ever tried the Jao Hand Sanitizer? It is REALLY nice! Doesn't dry your hands, and it smells great. Whenever I spray it people comment on it and say they love it.

In the states Beekmans is on HSN and QVC ((home shopping networks)) they have bar soaps ,body care, hand creams, lip balms, and if I remember correctly laundry and home care. They’ve been there since I think 2015, and they always have crazy good bundles that aren’t available at Ulta or wherever else they sell. A lot of people sleep on home shopping networks but they do some of the most rigorous testing for products to be on their network. But my mom always get me body care from them either Xmas or for my birthday. I always have a bar of their soap in the shower, pair that with some shower exfoliating gloves and your favorite body wash (( I found an dupe for Loccitanes Almond shower oil)) and it’s soft,well nourished skin all year round!

I don't think I've tried any of the products in today's video, but I do have a chinese cleansing balm from Judydoll (a cruelty free brand so far as i can tell) it contains papaya and yeast extract and has become my go-to. Oddly enough it was a free gift with my purchase. Thankfully it didn’t arrive melted! Smells gorgeous (papaya probably)

Would you recommend beekman for someone who has acne but also is combo-dry? I’m using everything glow recipe but thier plum moisturizer just don’t do enough for my face

i think you enjoy this cream! as long as you dont have v reactive skin or topical allergies to some of the plant extracts it's a nice medium weight moisturizer with a good amount of emollients in it. Only thing I'd be hesitant about acne-wise is the coconut alkanes, some acne-prone people experience clogged pores with this ingredient but not all so perhaps get a small trial size first and test it for a week or two before committing to a full size

I've tried two products from Beekman 1802 - their makeup wipes and several flavors of lip balm (xmas gifts), and I absolutely hated both. So did my daughter. So I'm kind of hesitant to try anything else.

China has been slowly relaxing their rules on animal testing so there are some brands that are cruelty free and as this is James, i would imagine he would have checked before buying that the brand is a cruelty free one. Judydoll and Flower Knows, for example, are cruelty free Chinese brands.
