Heyyyy,
So it's very rare I react to skincare routines nowadays but I had to check out how on earth any beauty routine could be 58 steps!
Well.., it kind of makes sense, and I kind of love it.

This routine made no sense. She's actually wasting a lot of her products. Just because someone has nice skin, doesn't mean they have an effective skincare routine. We underestimate the role genetics plays. I know a lot of people with nice skin and trash routines. However, she seems to be getting a lot of enjoyment out of this process. This is clearly a form of self-care for her. That counts for something. Still, she could enjoy herself AND use her many products in a more efficacious manner.

Skin health has zero to do with money or status - its genetics and education. But she has not hit 40 years old yet and she has great bone strucure - so she looks great. But she's too old for pimples and not yet menopausal - so of course her skin is nice. Its common sense. Madonna had great skin in her 30s - so big whoop. As someone older than her her skin is nice but not great. People confuse physical beauty with greatskin and celebs generally have poor skin but they are attractive whereas peasants have great skin but not so aesthitically pleasing. The two things are different, Having great skin WONT makeyou physically hot and just because ou are hot doesnt mean you have great skin. Her skin is fine and typical of a womanin her 30s - her face is beautifu and not typical and that is all you are seeing

I was thinking the same thing. I also heard some skincare experts say sunscreen goes on first as it should be closest to the skin but I know that’s not true as a moisturizer can dilute and ruin the efficacy. I get confused at the primer stage though if wearing makeup. Wish there was more consistency. The Glow Recipe Dew Drops and Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum also confuse me for the same reason - they’re meant for makeup prep. So do they go over sunscreen as primers or during serum phase? 😩 they’ve ended up sitting on my vanity unused because idk what to do 😟😔

I started to go through each link to add up the individual prices and see how much this would cost and stopped when I got to $2,000.... I still had almost half the list to go.... ridiculous. Lmao. (Edited to fix typo)

I have the little purple silicone face scrubber. I live in Ontario and got it at Shoppers Drug Mart. I believe it is the QUO brand that, from what I understand, is exclusive to Shoppers Drug Mart, but I've seen the same idea many other places. Also, from what I can remember, it is advertised as an gentle exfoliator. ...And I use the same alarm ring tone! 🤩

Ooh James I believe the face wash she used is by Shani Darden and I’ve actually been wondering your opinion of the brand. Shani Darden is a black-owned brand and became super known for her retinol reform. I received a deluxe sample to use and typically my face can not tolerate retinols even the “gentle” ones but this one was so Noicceee. Can’t wait til you and Robert get a Sephora 😩🙏🏼

@@thinkforyourself828 she has people constantly commenting on her skin 🤦‍♀️ it's not vanity to take care of your body when you're paid to be beautiful. Thanks to mr welsh I don’t trust anyone to much nowadays. But I think the message hes telling us should reach every young person possible. When you see things being portrayed as perfect, and especially when you are younger. You really do believe you have to be What society tries to portray . And that’s not cool. Bc some could never look as others might. Thank you James

I think I’m gonna get everyone I love a jade roller this year for Christmas because that shit straight up changed the game for me because of how much water my face retains. Gua Shas are so nice too

I think the vitamin e wheat germ ointment thing is just for the stickiness to prevent creasing, and maybe it’s just a better barrier so the lighter cream doesn’t evaporate. If you have a drier undereye I think it would make sense. And she only really put the ointment under her eyes and on her lips, so the vitamin c would still penetrate.

No makeup makeup looks often times require a lot of time because it’s about precision placement and blending to make it seem like it’s their own natural skin. Especially with bright filming lights and cameras that will pick everything up, there has to be layers upon layers and the blending - your sisters friends did a great job!
