We all know Alison Krauss has a wonderful voice and delivery, but what strikes me whenever I see her perform is how professional she is. Absolutely rock steady, knows exactly what she needs to do and nails it every time. Very impressive on all levels.

Astonishing to think that early in her career she was known more as a fiddler than a vocalist. One of the most beautiful voices ever.

I think the pairing of Alison and Jamey is fascinating. She is the ultimate soprano for country and bluegrass. He is the ultimate bass. She is criticized for incorporating pop and rock elements in her songs. He is considered one of the most authentic country artists now performing. She is a vision of beauty, as "angelic" in appearance as in sound. Jamey is . . . well, nothing fancy to look at. They might seem like opposites, but the sound of them together is unforgettably perfect.

I just like to listen to the their voices. Don't really much care bout what they all look like. On that note...Ms. Krauss is lovely to look at. Mr. Johnson served our nation as a Marine and gained my respect a long long time ago. He sings darn good just about so much as well. Like him as well.

NO FILTER ..May God bless you and ease your pain. This is a great song and now on my playlist. Music and lyrics fill my life and fuel my reminiscing. My favs are Van Morrison “Everything I do reminds me of of you” and “Sometimes we cry.” with his daughter Shana. I will never stop missing my wife, God took the best part of her... but He knew I couldn’t make it if He took her all...so He left the LOVE and MEMORIES with me. It hurts so much.. but if my pain is the price to remember and love her then I consider it a bargain. 🌸Linda Nelson🌸 Remembered💕Loved💕Missed

What is even more amazing is that the earbud monitors failed, filled with static. Krauss had to remove hers, and they still kept singing, and held it together.
@fosterit6 жыл бұрын
I just noticed that. She seemed off at first, and I was thinking that's not right. These guys don't just get "off" without a darn good reason, then I saw her take her monitors out. Absolute perfection! My son was made while this song was being played on repeat one night. Not this one, but the actual live version with union station.

I saw AKUS live at Harvard back in 1998. When they sang this song the crowd was deathly silent. When they finished the applause built and built and went on and on. It was hypnotic and the only time I ever got goosebumps from a live performance. Best concert I have ever seen.
