I love that "DoomSlayer" is what were calling him now, as enduring as "doomguy" was, this name feels fitting for the character, its like imagine a world where for along time we still called Mario "Jumpman" for the longest time before they finally gave him a real name XD...........oh yeah....and from day one that LawBreaker game looked like it was trying way to hard to be a serious game with such a goofy premise.

Doomguy will always be my go to. Slayer has more edge to it where's "guy" is more amusing. This guy, murdering demons because they killed his pet rabbit. Its just so humorous.

GuitarM0use Doomguy on its own is hilariously edgy, but in a comedic way. It sounds like a bad guy a kid would write and that adds to how actually scary Doomguy is. Doom Slayer is ridiculously edgy, but considering his whole shtick is "Oh fuck here come the demons, better bring out that one guy who was put at our disposal specifically to slaughter hordes of demons" I don't mind it at all. But it does bring up the question of when does something go from 'edgy' to 'badass'? Like...Shadow's edgy because he spends time talking and trying to look badass. Meanwhile, Doomguy/slayer says nothing, and after beating a rocket-firing cyber-minotaur, he'll go right into fighting more demons. It's like, one's the 14-year-old who likes to act like he slays demons, and the other is a guy who slays demons for *what is literally his job* and probably doesn't even think it's cool or fun.

I think it boils down to if the name suits the character, lets say Marcus phinox was called "the Doom slayer" by characters, yeah he kills alot of the monsters, but because he doesn't do it any better then anyone else so it would make him sound pretentious, the fact Doomguy/DoomSlayer tears through hell by himself helps it fit. but thats just me

Oh man, that game brings a lot of memories back. I still remember it took me weeks to reach level 30 before the Big Bang update. Now you can reach level 120 in a day, it's a shame what MapleStory has turned into. Once MapleStory 2 releases on NA, I hope they don't go the same route as their first game. They should make leveling slow, so people wouldn't just rush the game by grinding at particular areas, but rather explore and do more quest around their level.

I dunno why people in this comment section are getting so worked up? I played a little bit of Lawbreaker's myself and it was really nothing remarkable. I can forgive that, though. The real funny thing about Lawbreaker's is Cliffy B's arrogance in thinking he made the hottest game around and was gonna make a million dollars. You don't make a game just to start a franchise you can make money on... you make a game when you have vision, and interesting ideas that you wanna make a reality. Not just for cash.

The UT game is UT4. Its not a MOBA. It's actually more of a pure AFPS then Quake Champs is. No heros or anything. Just UT. UT4 is being community made and has been 'pre-alpha' for about 3 years. Epic Games just kinda checks on it a couples times a year while the fans make like 75% of the content. It's ok. Runs more stable then QC does and has a decent playerbase. More then Lawbreakers ironically.

UT has virtually no playerbase at all.It's definitely not being made by the community, although Epic wants you to think that.The whole community contribution aspect of the project is a complete failure. And since Epic needs more hands on deck for Fortnite, UT is pretty much abandoned at this point

Nah mate. The bulk of the new content in the game, meaning the new maps, player items, and game modes, are all community made. Try playing it sometime. They're not as polished as the basic content, at all. And most of it is just remaking old UT2K4 and UT99 content but it's ok. Ultimately Quake Champs is much more interesting at the moment so I'm not really playing it much really.

SlayJay Overwatch is fun whenever there's a new hero but I absolutely hate the cool down based mobility and the absolute shit fest that occurs when ultimates are used. Was hoping Lawbreakers would do well but nope, it's published by Nexon so it's guarenteed to go free to play in 6 months so there is no point in buying it.

I will use mini examples: If someone said they were gonna make a game like NieR but in their own style, Id check it out (Its a funded kickstarter game now, the SBF helped it) If someone said they were gonna make a 2D Sonic Style game but also Gunstar heroes, Id hella check it out (Freedom Planet) If someone said they were gonna make a Persona 5 style game, Id maybe check it out (Last time someone did that we got Tokyo MS and Mind=Zero) NOW if someone said they we gonna make a Call of Duty (Id stop listening) BUT (...but?) With awesome Wallrunning, Time Jumping, Gundam Mechs with special abilities, and infinite Speed boosts ID FUCKIN BUY IT (Titanfall 1 and 2 but mainly 2) Now lastly if someone told me that they were gonna make an Overwatch but fuck overwatch, Id ask them to stop talking. Overwatch is good and great but with people nagging me to get TF2 for years and I gave up and took the closest thing and being sucked in it (and loot Crates) Id just give up. If he wanted this thing to become big he shouldve shameless plugged out and asked some popular youtubers to play it. I feel no shame in saying watching LPs have gotten me into some shit I wouldve never been before.

I will say LawBreakers is way different to OW, LB is an arena shooter with hero elements.. Ow is a hero shooter..
