At just 10-years-old, Jamie Astwood’s life was turned upside down when she broke her back in a dune boarding accident. But her positive attitude has helped her lead an independent life, and set an inspirational example for others.

I have also been very fortunate to have such wonderful care and support from ACC for the last 20 years and ongoing. Double amuputee. But yes others do have a hard time. But yes wonderful people at ACC.

Well, she's one of the "lucky" ones who have been helped by ACC, unlike others who struggle to get any meaningful and ongoing aid from them. They have too many non-medical staff making medical decisions about accident victims, which decisions they are totally unqualified to make. Too many genuine sufferers miss out because of this.
