Rongoā Māori: Abbey's inspiring journey from injury to marathon

Abbey Stockdale was training for a marathon to raise money for people living with Parkinson's when she injured herself on the slippery stairs at Mt Kaukau in Wellington.
After receiving rongoā Māori (traditional Māori healing) she was able to fully recover and complete the 42km event across Wellington's Skyline Walkway.
Rongoā is available as a rehabilitation option for all New Zealanders if you have an injury covered by ACC.
