No it’s not…….AT ALL. (Perhaps for a small minority?) We knew we weren’t competitive and that he arguably deserved to move on. I think many (not all) could have even forgiven him if he decided on Arsenal early (for supposedly schooling reasons I heard, or just UCL and success etc) and got Spurs a bumper payout. What stuck the most was the lies, promises, ad then going for nothing. Then acting like he was a victim and it was a surprise. Bafflingly dumb.

I'm a Manchester United and would've loved to have seen Sol in a United shirt. Whilst I regard him as English football's biggest traitor, the blame has to lie with the Spurs board. They turned down good offers for him and allowed him to go into the final year of his contract. They should have put a contract in front of him and said 'Sign now or be placed on the transfer list and be denied a squad number'. The board are as much to blame as Sol.
