Hardcore fan of the original and books. Wasnt happy about the announcement of this movie. I literally just watched it and i loved it. My issue was with pacing and certain scenes leading into other scenes, but everything else was so good. I loved the McFarlane aesthetic for the cenobites. The Chanard feel with Roland. The lore. The casting for other characters, not as well known, was much better that way. The gore was medium to high, but still good. And Pinheads dialogue was written very well. Really happy with this movie:)

For a hard core fan of the book and original movie, I feel sorry for you kinda. How can you think this movie was anything good. I have seen lots of fan films that were better than this shitty fan film.

Dude, i cant help how i feel. I enjoyed it. Are there things about it i didnt like? YES. A lot of things, but i hate EVERYTHING that is released, nearly every remake, reboot, or even original productin i have not liked to a long time. I liked this. Will i watch it again, probably not, there are 4 hellraiser movies i like more. The problem is you taking my comment as some sort of official endorsement, no, its just my sole opinion. I was expecting something far worse than what i got, they put trash in my mouth for 99 percent of remakes, now i get that was like this for you, but not for me, does it make it a good film, i dont actually care, my comment is a personal one, and yeah, i enjoyed it. Freakin' amazing actress. went into the film with sub zero expectations, but daaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmnnnn did she freakin' owned every second she was on screen. in my book the best female vilain ever portrayed, period. and given how nice she is IRL in interview, my god what an acting performance, oscar, freakin', worthy. ladies and gents (and in betweens), imho the trans community just found their Sigourney Weaver/Leonardo DiCaprio, the kind of talent you get once in a generation. if she doesn't become a A-lister within years hollywood better STFU for all eternity about any kind of virtues signaling, time for them to put their money where their mouth is !
