That light, over depth margin rig is very interesting 👍 It completely goes against the common train of thought with edge rigs from last few years!

It's interesting to hear the way today's top match anglers think. It's the throwaway lines like "mainline doesn't matter, stops you tangling" that have me thinking the most. And when I think about it, he's obviously right! It's easy to forget why, in the waggler fishing days, we used such light lines in the first place. Almost none of those reasons apply to pole fishing!

Whenever I make my pole rigs up at home I always make them 2 different lengths depending on where I'm fishing and put most of the shot on before I go fishing then put a final shot or 2 on on the bank depending on conditions at the time

Have never shot at home, I allways make my rigs too deep for what I need, I can allways trim off the spare and keep that rig perfect for the swim. Hook length all the same length depending on band, spike hair etc.

Brilliant. I've started to take a lot of what is said and my fishing has massively got better and came in top three on a lot of matches this year. Hopefully me and farther in law are going to book a lesson with jamie if we can just need to find how

Jamie mentions a different shotting pattern for the first rig depending on depth, what would that be?
@raycharm89503 жыл бұрын
he started to say he puts his shot strung out pattern,a couple of inches apart and then andy guy interrupted as he always does and Jamie did not finish what he was saying about the shotting pattern
@MrSpectralio3 жыл бұрын
@@raycharm8950 in other movies he says on deeper water he would have a bulk and then string out his shots over the remaining 1/3 of the line down

I spent over £85 with Tim Moores and didn’t get any floats, tried contacting him a few times, but not getting any response?

He's been in and out of hospital so might have missed it, probably give him another shout and sure he'll sort it.
