I've been around mentally ill family members, especially my mom growing up and there was no help. They usually don't know how mentally ill they are, same with my older brother. It's not easy to deal with. I hope your friend gets the help they need. Mental health issues are very common.

Jamie Lee's dad, Tony Curtis, was Jewish so we can understand the emotion she showed. I appreciate the way she addressed it, with real pain and hurt. I recently went through a tragedy and am a survivor and have the hardest time dealing with everything emotionally. The trauma is unreal and I keep thinking it will never end with the thoughts that run through my head. The person that caused this is currently serving life in prison but I cant manifest the horror and feelings I went through. Its constantly on my mind everyday. I get when Jaime says others just say "your fine" because this is all I get. Until you experience something so severe you will never know the other persons saddness, anger, etc. I hope I get to that "just bury it" one day. Its been a year and a half only and it still haunts me.
