Part of why Aerosmith is so legendary. They are never afraid to do the "uncool" thing. Singing on stage with Nsync and Britney when you're a rockstar would normally get you mocked. They didn't care. They were also the FIRST rock band to ever mix rap into their music when no one else would dare do that. LOved this

@Tatcher Jacques did you really say that? my god, music for teenagers? Do you know Britney's entire discography? you have no idea of the revolution she caused by making her debut in pop, she was the most influential artist of the last 20 years, her albums are legendary, they inspired most of the works of the decade of 2010. Michael himself and Madonna herself crowned princess of pop, and the billboard assumes that the title is hers and always will be. Britney is not a generic pop singer like today, Britney is a legend, it has changed the industry and pop culture. His records, awards, iconic performances remembered until today, in addition to the cultural impact of his music worldwide. To question your status in the industry, you have to be someone who has virtually no knowledge of pop music

This was actually pretty stripped back compared to what came before it--Michael Jackson and Diana Ross had huge, field-covering performances (and Diana exited via chopper, no less). The Halftime Show is typically about going as over the top and legendary as possible, this one technically went against the grain. They still pulled off the crazy feel of a good Halftime without covering the field though.
@Aprillis29 Жыл бұрын

Can't believe it's been 21 years since this half time show! Unfreakingbelievable how fast time passes... This was the 1st half time show I ever watched. I was just a 13 year old boy, but I was an MTV kinda kid, so I loved Aerosmith, Nsync, Britney, Nelly, everyone. This was like a dream come true for me. But Aerosmith & I Don't Want To Miss A Thing were things I was looking forward the most! There might be better shows than this, but for me it's top 3 fav of all time. But my #1 fav half time show of all time? U2 (2002). The feels & the songs were too emotional. I was already a big U2 fan as a 14 year old, so to this day it's still my #1 fav.
