Thank you for these tutorials. I've been a stylist 42 years and believe me things are very different now. I need these videos so I can keep up and stay current. I've learned a lot about mixing and toning and the placement of my foils. I will always watch one of your videos!

I used the conditioner trick to help blur the line when applying bleach on darker roots - as well as a clean brush to blend it out towards the roots more - it works AMAZING. Thank you so much for helping me gain more confidence in this trade :) Been doing hair for years but love learning new tricks. Keep it up!

I have never even heard of a blending agent either. We are a matrix salon but our distributers and educators are not the best at telling us about ANYTHING! Matrix just launched all new bonded colors and I have to go elsewhere to learn anything. Can you tell me more about this blending agent?
@juliettedonohue70693 жыл бұрын
thank you very much for this video. The result is gorgeous! One thing which is not shown, is how you connect the back to diagonal back foils on the side, as in the back, you leave a certain amount of natural roots out, I suppose you need such a mount to gradually reduce when you go towards the front of the head. I find it interesting to find a way of doing it without a root shadow, just by using the natural hair color.

Hey I just did this on my client today, Ive been doing hair professionally for about 17 years. I have had this client forever and she has incredibly thick hair. I didn't take my time I worked pretty standard pace and it took me about 6 hours for a cut, the bleaching, and a toner with a blowout. I always feel bad when it takes a long time to do a color/ full transformation but I was literally working non stop the whole time. Im curious how long does it take you to do your colors. Can you start adding the time it took for each style at the end of each video! Thanks

I have been told by 3 stylists at 3 different salons that it would be impossible to get my hair this way in one session. A couple of months ago I paid over $400 to get a balayage. It took over 3 hours and afterwards my hair barely looked like it was highlighted. Next time I am going to do my hair myself. If I screw up at least I didn't pay over $400 to have someone else mess it up. I doubt I will do worse than these professionals I have been going to.

Hi Jamie, love your tutorials and you were the first person to introduce me to conditioner as a blending agent, so thank you so much;-) I find that it works brilliant for natural bases 7,8, i do find that for me , the blending gets a bit orangy on darker natural bases like 3,4,5,6 , any tips on that? Thank you and lots of love your way, im binge watching your videos for inspiration;-))))

Hello!! I love your videos and practicing to them! I had a question, when you say you tip out the ends in between the foils on the hair you left out in the back section, are you grabbing all of that hair and fully saturating it and blending the top or do you weave them still?

I've heard and read a lot of stories of women saying Olaplex has been making their scalp dry and raw and causing extreme hair loss over some time. Have you ever heard or researched this? Just curious, I have never used it thanks. Edit- some time meaning 2 or 3 uses of Olaplex, hair continues to break off and fall out for up to a year with many women with no remedy
