I remember stating that to one of my old teachers at school because she asked what we would wish our future selfs could do. And I went to guy buy food and just pack whatever I want knowing I can afford it and just eat what I crave and not whats in my budget. And she got so dismissive saying its not a real thing to want I should go for something admirable like a car or own a house. That crushed my heart. So thank you for sharing that cause now it doesnt feel as if I wanted something weird in life. Guess we are just more humble than others.

Jamie, your response to the question about being rich is actually beautiful. I work for a local authority in an area with over 50% of children living in poverty. For their families being able to shop and eat without worrying about the next meal, and how they’ll afford it will be such a huge aspiration so for you to answer that that was a sort of “made it” moment for you was really nice to see, as I’m sure far more people will relate to that than buying a house or luxury car etc. It just shows how grounded and grateful you are for what you have 💗
