Thank you for this video, but I was told that WD-40 is dangerous to breath because of the silicon. Is this true?

Mary Sullivan Thanks! Right now I'm more into bisque stamps so I would just shape them. I did these one by cutting them out of slab and then pouring plaster.

In this video it's canvas. I now work with interfacing from the fabric store... the non adhesive kind. It leaves less texture.

What are the marshmallow-like things on your desk? I think I've heard about them. Are they for taking impressions?

I didn't know what I would use them for when I purchased them! They just called to me and I felt compelled to buy them. Since then I have used them to support my clay in handbuilding--like a low walled tray. I would put them on one side of a newly raised wall while bringing up the connecting one. I've also used them as stilts on my drying plaster molds.

Jamie Meador What are the marshmallow thingies called? I've looked around with no luck.

Dixie Darlin If you google "foam marshmallow" you will see what the packaging looks like. It reads "Foamies 3-D Shapes". I didn't realize there was a smaller size. I use the 1x1 1/18" 15 pack. The manufacturer is Darice.
