Love your Elvis 😂, you summed it up in The right way, Beautiful Man Among MEN,, I was only 17 when he left us and that is the world day of my life, but fortunately got to see him 3 times in concert, and the very first time I was only 11 years old and I was in love with this beautiful man, he stole my heart and That day is forever etched in my mind and soul, he's PURE MAGIC all wrapped very nicely in one complete package, he is still the best selling solo artists if all time, over 45yrs later, he's still. Girl, you need to see the Elvis movie. OMG! Austin Butler (actor who portrays Elvis) did a phenomenal job. I"ve seen the movie about 30 times so far.

Elvis had a unique, one of a kind voice. On it's own, it's remarkable but when you add in his remarkable emotionality then it becomes this unexplainable thing and it's the two aspects combined that puts all others to shame. Who else has such a unique voice that his catchphrase is "Thank You?"

Much of the lyric for this song was taken from MLKs' "I Have A dream" speech that he delivered in Washington DC in 1963. 1968 was a very tough year! Anti war protests in the streets, Civil Rights protests in the streets, riots and parts of cities' burned to the ground including sections of Washington DC! Political assassinations (MLK and Robert F Kennedy) and assassination attempts (Presidential hopeful, Gov. George Wallace was shot at a rally in Laurel, MD. He survived but was paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of his life.). The Vietnam war was going badly as the body bag totals were announced every night on the evening news. As I said, 1968 was a very tough year!

Hi sweetheart, I just subbed when I saw you were going to react to Elvis,, love your reaction, I was only 8yrs old when he sang this beautiful song written especially for him to end the 68vomeback special, he puts his Whole Heart and soul of the performance, it was meant to bring peace to the world, MLK and RFK and been assassinated prior to this show and this is the way ELVIS got his message across, beautiful reaction to the Greatest Showman The World has ever Known,, thanks for reacting to Elvis, stay on the Elvis journey,you will learn so much more about this beautiful Man Among MEN.
