జమిలి ఎన్నికల దిశగా మరో కీలక ముందడుగు పడింది. వన్‌ నేషన్‌-వన్‌ ఎలక్షన్‌ బిల్లుకు కేంద్ర కేబినెట్‌ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. మాజీ రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్‌నాథ్‌ కోవింద్‌ సమర్పించిన నివేదిక ఆధారంగా రూపొందించిన ఈ బిల్లుకు ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ నేతృత్వంలో జరిగిన కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్గ సమావేశంలో ఆమోదం తెలుపుతూ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. ప్రస్తుత పార్లమెంటు సమావేశాల్లోనే జమిలి ఎన్నికల ముసాయిదా బిల్లులను ప్రవేశపెట్టే అవకాశం ఉంది.
